Simple and made with just 5 ingredients, this vegan peppermint mocha latte is the perfect holiday drink!
Brew a double shot of espresso and set aside.
In a sauce pan, heat 8 ounces oat milk, 2 Tablespoons chocolate chips (or cocoa powder, if you are using), and 1 Tablespoon sugar.
Once chocolate is melted into the non-dairy milk, remove from heat. Add ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract.
Optional- Froth the mint chocolate milk mixture using a handheld frother.
Pour the non-dairy milk mixture over the double shot of espresso.
Garnish with vegan whipped topping and crushed peppermint and enjoy!
You can sub 2 Tablespoons of Cocoa Powder for the chocolate chips.
Use your favorite non-dairy milk, I used oat milk.
