Chocolate Almond Lactation Bites

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Ground Flaxseed
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 1 cup Old-Fashioned Oats
  • ½ cup Almond Butter
  • ¼ cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • teaspoon Salt
  • 3 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Brewers Yeast
  • ¼ cup Mini Chocolate Chips dairy-free

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, stir together ¼ cup ground flax with ¼ cup water and let sit 5 minutes.

  2. After 5 minutes, add 1 cup old-fashioned oats, ½ cup almond butter, ¼ cup maple syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla, ⅛ teaspoon salt, 3 Tablespoons cocoa powder, 1 Tablespoon brewers yeast, and ¼ cup mini chocolate chips.

  3. Stir the ingredients together with a rubber spatula until combined.

  4. Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

  5. Scoop the lactation balls mixture with a 1.5 Tablespoon cookie scoop and roll into balls.

  6. Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
