After all of the fun I had making my Holiday Cookie Box this Christmas, I decided to shake up my Valentine’s Day gifting routine with an indulgent sequel- The Valentine’s Day Dessert Box!

Packed with easy to make sweet treats, this delicious dessert box is made with some of my favorite Valentine’s Day Treats: McKay’s Sugar Cookies, Easy Chocolate Fudge, Valentine’s Day Monster Cookies, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Toffee.

McKay’s Sugar Cookies

These delicious sugar cookies came into my life at Valentine’s Day so it would only be fitting for me to make them EVERY Valentine’s Day for the rest of my life. These soft sugar cookies are cut into adorable hearts and decorated with pink and red royal icing.

Easy Chocolate Fudge

I do have a confession, I wanted to put peanut butter chocolate fudge in this dessert box but then I would have had two peanut butter and chocolate treats and no straight chocolate treats. I re-assessed and went the route of pure chocolate, because it is Valentine’s Day after all… This easy to make fudge has 4 ingredients and comes together in just 5 minutes making it the easiest item to make in the box.

Valentine’s Day Monster Cookies

When it has Valentine’s Day in the title you know it has to go in this dessert box. You might have seen these cuties dressed up for Christmas in my Dairy-Free Dessert Box. This Valentine’s Day, these monster cookies made an appearance dressed in their red, pink, and white sprinkles ready for a delicious Valentine’s Day treat!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Toffee

New to the blog! This chocolate peanut butter toffee makes a salty and sweet treat everyone will enjoy! Layered with saltines, homemade toffee, peanut butter, chocolate, and sprinkled with sea salt this vegan toffee adds the perfect balance of salty and sweet to the box!

How to Make a Valentine’s Day Dessert Box

I suggest making your desserts in batches depending upon how many boxes you intend to make. For each recipe, I broke down the steps to a 20-30 minute task each day over the course of the week. I was never overloaded with dishes or felt rushed with any step because I knew there were natural pausing points in between.

First Day: Start by making McKay’s Sugar Cookie dough and freeze the dough.
Second Day: Make the Valentine’s Day Monster Cookie dough, scoop and freeze in pre-scooped balls.
Third Day: Make the Easy Chocolate Fudge and allow to set in the freezer until ready to assemble the boxes.
Fourth Day: Make the Chocolate Peanut Butter Toffee + bake the sugar cookies.
Fifth Day: Bake the Valentine’s Day Monster Cookies and frost the sugar cookies.
Sixth Day: Wrap, pack, and ship the boxes.

Dairy-Free Swaps for a Dessert Box

Some of the biggest swaps and substitutions needed for this Valentine’s Day Dessert box include:

-Changing butter to a plant based butter option.
-Using dairy-free chocolate chips.
-Getting sweetened condensed coconut milk to make the easy chocolate fudge.

Other Desserts to include in the Valentine’s Day Dessert Box
