Soon after we discovered we were pregnant with our second child I began putting together a handbook to help anyone in the house know what to do when with our oldest.

One of the sections in the handbook included a few recipes that could be made with pantry staple ingredients and that came together quickly. They also happened to be recipes everyone, including our 14-month old, enjoyed.

Recipes like Air Fryer Hard Boiled Eggs, Mom’s Hamburger Helper, Sausage and Veggie Orzo, and these 15-Minute Peanut Noodles.

How to Make Creamy Peanut Noodles

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Spaghetti Noodles- I keep it simple and use the traditional spaghetti noodle, but you can use any long noodle your heart desires.
  • Creamy Peanut Butter– I stick to the store-brand creamy peanut butter for easy mixing.
  • Garlic– Microplaned so it blends better with the sauce.
  • Soy Sauce– We typically use the low sodium (green container) soy sauce for this recipe.
  • Sriracha- A little goes a long way.
  • Lemon Juice– Fresh or from the bottle is fine.
  • Honey– If we are out of honey use agave, maple syrup, or brown sugar.
  • Water– I like to pull some of the pasta water to use in the sauce.
  • Sesame Oil– Adds a little boost of flavor.
