We are currently still in the two under two phase at our home (and will continue to be for a good number of months). While both of our children have been healthy, strong sleepers, and great eaters (we count our blessings everyday) they are also both pretty active.

  • Ground Flax Seed– Made from ground flaxseeds, this contains phytoestrogens (AKA dietary estrogens) which are structurally similar to estrogen produced by the body and have the potential to have effects similar to estrogen.

  • Make flax egg: In a small bowl mix together ground flax and water. Let sit at least 5 minutes.
  • Measure ingredients: In a large bowl, pour oat flour, oats, vanilla protein powder, brewer’s yeast, cashew butter, maple syrup, almond and vanilla extract, flax mixture, and sprinkles.
  • Mix together into an evenly distributed consistency.
  • Scoop and roll: With a 1 1/2- Tablespoon sized cookie scoop, scoop the batter and roll into balls.

  • ¼ cup Ground Flax
  • ¼ cup + 1 Tablespoon Water
  • 1 cup Oat Flour
  • 1 cup Old-Fashioned Oats
  • ¼ cup Vanilla Protein Powder vegan
  • 1 Tablespoon Brewer's Yeast
  • ½ cup Cashew Butter
  • ¼ cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Almond Extract
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla
  • ¼ cup Sprinkles

Instructions
