Ingredients

  • 1 cup Old-Fashioned Oats
  • ¼ cup Peanut Butter
  • ¼ cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Ground Flaxseed
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 1 tablespoon Brewers Yeast
  • ¼ cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, stir together water and ground flaxseed. Allow to rest 5 minutes for the flaxseed to soak up the water.

  2. In a medium sized bowl, mix together oats, peanut butter, maple syrup, flaxseed mixture, brewers yeast, and chocolate chips.

  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

  4. After an hour, remove from the fridge and roll into 1 inch balls. I used my 1 1/2 tablespoon cookie scoop to scoop then roll the energy bites.

  5. Once rolled, store in a refrigerator safe container for up to a week.
