Ingredients

  • lbs Bone in Pork Ribs

Dry Rub Seasoning

  • 1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. Chili Powder
  • ½ tsp. Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp. Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp. Cayenne Powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Oregano
  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Begin by making your dry rub seasoning. In a small bowl mix all spices together evenly.

  2. Pat the ribs dry with a paper towel.

  3. Sprinkle the rub onto the ribs and rub it in. Make sure all of the ribs are coated in the dry rub before moving to the next step.

  4. In a slow cooker, prop the ribs up on the bone to prevent the ribs sagging and laying in their juices.

  5. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4 hours.

  6. Carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker and place on a cutting board. Chop and serve!

  7. Optional- When the time is done, place the rack of ribs in the oven, on a baking sheet and broil for 3-5 minutes to give an extra crispy finish.

Recipe Notes

You can use beef ribs in place of pork if you wish.
