Valentine’s Day Chocolate Chip Cookies

This beautiful combination of white chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, and festive sprinkles bring the season of love together in one tasty cookie!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Vegan Butter (room temperature)
  • ¾ cup Brown Sugar (dark)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Egg (room temperature)
  • ½ teaspoon Salt (Kosher)
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1½ cup Flour (all purpose)
  • ½ cup White Chocolate Chips (dairy-free)
  • ½ cup Dark Chocolate Chips (dairy-free)
  • ¼ cup Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Allow the ½ cup of plant-based butter and egg time to come to room temperature.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together butter and ¾ cup brown sugar.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and egg and mix until combined.
  4. Next, add ½ teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon baking soda and beat until combined.
  5. Then, slowly stir in the 1½ cup flour, adding about ½ cup at a time. Once all of the flour has been added stir until combined.
  6. Fold in ½ cup white chocolate chips, ½ cup dark chocolate chips, and ¼ cup sprinkles and scoop into 1½ tablespoon sized balls.
  7. Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes.
  8. When you are ready to bake, preheat the oven to 360°F. Place dough balls about 2 inches apart on a rimmed, lined cookie sheet. Bake for 11 minutes.
