Peppermint White Chocolate Dipped Oreos

Vegan peppermint white chocolate dipped Oreos topped with crushed candy canes are the perfect no bake holiday treat!

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces Dairy-free White Chocolate Chips
  • 2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Peppermint Extract
  • 4 Candy Canes (crushed)
  • 24 Oreo Cookies

Instructions

  1. Crush 4 candy canes into small bite sized pieces and set aside.
  2. Make a double broiler using a small sauce pan and a glass bowl.
  3. In the glass bowl add 10 ounces dairy-free white chocolate chips and 1 Tablespoon of coconut oil to start.
  4. Slowly stir the white chocolate with the coconut oil until melted smooth.
  5. Next add 1/2 Tablespoon peppermint extract and stir until smooth.
  6. If the chocolate seizes up and needs to loosen up, add additional 1/2-1 Tablespoon of coconut oil.
  7. Dip an Oreo into the melted white chocolate and flip to coat both sides.
  8. Using a fork, remove the Oreo from the peppermint white chocolate and tap the excess chocolate off.
  9. Transfer the mint chocolate dipped Oreo to a parchment paper and sprinkle with crushed candy cane.
  10. Repeat until you run out of Oreos or peppermint white chocolate.
