Last month’s review of Boursin’s Dairy-Free Garlic and Herb Cheese marked 6 reviews of cheese based products for this year. So as we enter into the holiday season I thought it was high time to bring in a few sweeter products to review.

These non-dairy Lindt truffles are a dairy-free alternative to traditional creamy Lindt truffles. Launched in the fall of 2023, these melt in your mouth truffles are the perfect addition to the Lindt plant-based line up.

In 2022, Lindt launched non-dairy chocolate bars including a creamy “milk” chocolate option and a salted caramel option. The success of these chocolate bars led the company to branch out and convert their classic truffles into a plant-based masterpiece.

Please note that these are not products sent to me or items I will earn any commissions on for the review. Simply put, this is a dairy-free product I tried, liked, and could see myself using time and again.

What are Lindt Non-Dairy Truffles?

Non-dairy Lindt truffles take on the same structure of the classic Lindt truffle- a chocolate shell exterior surrounding a melt in your mouth chocolate truffle.

These creamy plant-based truffles come in two varieties, OatMilk, which is more akin to a milk chocolate flavor and Dark Chocolate OatMilk.

What we like about non-dairy Lindt chocolate truffles

Honestly, these were an absolute slam dunk in my book. The main reasons I am beyond obsessed with these chocolate truffles include:

  • The flavor. Creamy, melt in your mouth, sinfully delicious, just like a chocolate truffle should be.
  • Serving size. 3 truffles made up a serving size which felt like more than enough to be satisfied.

What we didn’t like about non-dairy Lindt chocolate truffles

Depending on your dietary needs as well as restrictions, there are a few things to keep in mind before adding these truffles to your cart.

  • They only have two flavors. I need more of these truffles in my life.
  • I struggled to distinguish between the two. The flavors were pretty much the same to me. Maybe I have an unrefined palate but I just felt like they were the same.
  • Almond butter. If you have a tree nut allergy, these might not be the dairy-free truffles for you.
  • Manufacturing. The truffles are made on equipment that also processes milk and other tree nuts.
