Malk Organics Review
Malk Organics are a plant-based milk line that include almond and oat varieties. Read about the nutritional information, a general taste test, and what we like and dislike about these simple ingredient based milk alternatives.

In the age of ordering groceries on line I have become a creature of habit when it comes to my go-to products for dairy-free living. That said, there are occasions I find myself running to the store to grab one or two things I missed or ran out of and I stumble upon something new.
This spring I found myself in the milk aisle drawn to a new to me non-dairy milk brand, Malk Organics. I quickly picked up the oat malk and almond malk varieties to add into my daily life and wanted to share my thoughts with you on this organic plant-based milk brand.
Please note that these are not products sent to me or items I will earn any commissions on for the review. Simply put, this is a dairy-free product I tried, liked, and could see myself using time and again.
What is Malk Organics?
Founded in 2015, the Malk Organics Company set out to provide a plant-based milk with simple, clean ingredients. These non-dairy beverages are made with:
- USDA Organic ingredients

Their line of plant-based milk alternatives include varieties made from almond, oat, coconut, soy, and cashew. They include both refrigerated options as well as two shelf-stable options. Flavors of Malk include unsweetened, vanilla, and chocolate.
In 2024 the company expanded the line of products to include almond based coffee creamers in vanilla and caramel.

Malk Almond Milk Ingredients
One of the main goals of the Malk Organics company is to #turnitaround. They want you to turn around your plant-based milk to see what you are getting and in this case, what you are not getting.
Each bottle of Malk is made with organic ingredients that can easily be counted on one hand. Not only that, the listed ingredients are not artificial or filler.
A bottle of unsweetened almond Malk is made with:
- Filtered Water
- Organic Almonds
- Himalayan Pink Salt
The Vanilla Almond Malk includes organic vanilla extract while the Chocolate Almond Malk includes organic coconut sugar and organic Dutch processed cocoa powder.
Check out the Malk Organics Products page for additional information about the Almond Malk ingredients.

Just like the almond varieties, the Oat Malk is also made with simple and organic materials for a non-dairy milk you can feel good about drinking.
Inside of each bottle of Oat Malk you can expect to find a non-dairy beverage made with:
- Filtered Water
- Organic Gluten-Free Oats

Malk Organics Taste Test
For this review I was able to sample Unsweetened Almond Malk, Unsweetened Oat Malk, and Vanilla Almond Malk.
Unsweetened Almond Malk:
- Smells like almonds
- Tastes like almond- not like almond extract, simply the flavor of an unsalted almond
- Smooth, well blended, very enjoyable to drink
- Leaves a little residue on the sides of the glass
Unsweetened Oat Malk:
- Smells like a canister of old fashioned oats
- Slightly sweeter in taste than the almond Malk
- Smooth well blended texture
- Slight after taste
Vanilla Almond Malk:
- Slightly sweeter almond smell
- Tastes like almond but better
- Smooth, well blended, and very enjoyable to drink
- Leaves a little residue on the sides of the glass

What We Like About Malk Organics
There is a lot to like about Malk Organics. Here are some of the things I really enjoyed about this product.
- Clean simple ingredients.
- Smooth, fresh flavors, especially in the almond varieties.
- Easy to drink, easy to use in baking
What We Didn’t Like About Malk Organics
I don’t have a lot of negative feedback for the Malk beverages I tried. My biggest complaints include:
- Price. I struggle with this complaint because on the one hand, the cost is about 3 times that of my go-to non-dairy milk. However my go-to is not organic and has a number of ingredients I would probably benefit from not consuming regularly.
Uses for Malk Organics Plant-Based Milk Alternatives
Prior to picking up a bottle of Malk I would not have said I am someone who typically enjoys a glass of non-dairy milk. Probably because of the the fillers and additives, I just used them in recipe replacement.
That said, I enjoyed drinking Malk straight from the glass and would be happy to pour a glass with a warm cookie any day of the week.
One of the most common uses we have see with this plant-based milk is in a line of smoothies with Erewhon. Personally, I have been using Malk Organics in a number of ways including but not limited to:
- Added to my protein shakes
- As a coffee creamer in my morning cup
- Baked into banana bread
- Cooked into a batch of biscuits
- Poured into a bowl of cereal

Final Thoughts and Reflections on Malk Organics
10/10 would recommend this product. I am pretty sure I am going to be replacing my go-to almond milk with the Almond Malk for the foreseeable future because it is truly that good in my opinion.
