Kind Frozen Treat Bars Review

Kind Frozen Treat Bars are a plant-based frozen dessert made by Kind. Read about the nutritional information, a general taste test, and what we like and dislike about these nutty, chocolate dipped ice cream treats in this Frozen Kind Bar Review.

After bestowing this the year of the ice cream review, I have found my second pick from the freezer section for stocking my dairy-free dessert stash.

These sweet and salty frozen bars have a creamy ice cream base topped with nuts and a caramel like coating that is then dipped in chocolate and drizzled with chocolate on top.

With so much delicious promise and from a company known for using minimal ingredients, this seemed like the perfect fit for our second ice cream review of 2025.

Please note that these are not products sent to me or items I will earn any commissions on for the review. Simply put, this is a dairy-free product I tried, liked, and could see myself possibly buying again.

Kind Frozen Treat Bar Taste Test

Dark Almond Sea Salt

A hand holding a kind frozen almond bar that has been cut in half to show the fillings.
  • Salty with a clear almond flavor.
  • Creamy and cold.
  • I don’t feel like the “ice cream” portion has a flavor to it which allows the caramel like topping to shine through.
  • Easily addictive in the salty, sweet, creamy, and crunchy combination.
  • High in fiber which made it a little more filling than my usual ice cream treat.

Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate

A sliced open kind frozen peanut bar to show the fillings.
  • Strong peanut/ peanut butter flavor with first bite.
  • Inconsistent chocolate coating. Some of the bars didn’t have drizzle all the way across.
  • Less salty than the almond version.
  • Great ratio of crunchy to smooth in each bite.
  • Also high in fiber and filling in the “I felt satisfied” kind of way.

What We Didn’t Like About Kind Frozen Treat Bars

While I enjoyed both of the frozen treat bars that I sampled, I had a few things I was less than enthusiastic about. Nit picky? Maybe, but still worth noting.

  • Long ingredient lists. While I can easily pronounce many of the ingredients listed in these bars there are quite a few different ingredients in each frozen bar.
  • Irregular chocolate dipping on the base. Each frozen treat is dipped in a thin layer of chocolate on the bottom and I have found it to be inconsistent from bar to bar.
  • They include both peanuts and almonds in each bar. This might be nit picky, but I felt like keeping one completely made from peanuts while the other made entirely from almonds would make them more accessible to those with peanut vs tree nut allergies.

Final Thoughts and Reflections on Kind Frozen Treat Bars

Overall I felt like these were a delicious and satisfying dessert treat that was also loaded with fiber. I would probably only pick up a box of them if they were on sale, not because I didn’t enjoy them, I just don’t normally keep frozen treats stocked in the freezer.
