Gluten-Free Dairy-Free Cornbread

Moist, flavorful, and bakes in 30 minutes, this dairy-free gluten-free cornbread recipe makes the perfect addition to any gathering.

  • 1 cup Gluten-Free Flour
  • 1 cup Corn Meal
  • ½ cup Sugar (granulated)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ¼ cup Vegan Butter (melted and cooled)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 cup Non-Dairy Milk
  • 3 Tablespoons Honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and spray a 9×9-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl add 1 cup gluten-free flour, 1 cup yellow cornmeal, ½ cup sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, and 2 teaspoons baking powder. Mix together.
  3. Next add ¼ cup melted vegan butter, 1 egg, 1 cup non-dairy milk, and 3 Tablespoons honey. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pout the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30 minutes (or until a toothpick comes out clean).
  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
