Chocolate Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips

  • 1 c. Flour
  • ½ c. Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • 3 Bananas (ripe)
  • ¾ c. Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • ¼ c. Canola Oil
  • ¼ c. Non-dairy Buttermilk
  • 1 c. Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a loaf pan by spraying with non-stick spray. Set aside.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda.
  3. In a large mixing bowl mash banana until smooth. Add brown sugar, egg, vanilla, oil, and non-dairy buttermilk. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Fold the flour mixture into the banana mixture until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips and pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minuted or until toothpick comes out clean.
