How to Make Air Fryer Quesadillas
Ingredients You’ll Need
- Tortillas– I like to use flour tortillas for this recipe.
- Vegan Cheese– A blend of shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese work wonderfully.
Step-by-Step Directions for Air Fryer Quesadillas
- Preheat the air fryer to 325°F and set the time to 4 minutes.
- Prepare quesadilla: On a plate, place shredded cheese on one half of the flour tortilla and fold the second half of the tortilla on top.
- Add quesadilla: Once the air fryer is pre-heated place the quesadilla in the air fryer.
- Flip: Halfway through the cook time, flip the quesadilla. If the top has flown off, fold it back over before flipping.
- Serve: Once the cooking time is complete, remove the quesadilla from the air fryer and allow to cool slightly before serving.
Folding vs. Stacking
During the testing process for this recipe, my first inclination was to make the quesadillas in a more traditional manor with two tortillas (one on top, one on bottom) and cheese in between.
The trouble with this method in the air fryer is that the top tortilla blew off the quesadilla once the air fryer was closed. To rectify this problem I opted for the folding over method.
You can also easily make two quesadillas at the same time to double the output.

Air Fryer Quesadillas
These easy vegan air fryer quesadillas come together in under 5 minutes for a delicious snack or lunch anyone will enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 Tortilla flour
- 3-4 Tablespoon Vegan Shredded Cheese
Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 325°F and set the time to 4 minutes.

On a plate, place 3-4 Tablespoons shredded cheese on one half of a flour tortilla and fold the second half of the tortilla on top.

Once the air fryer is pre-heated place the quesadilla in the air fryer.

Halfway through the cook time, flip the quesadilla. If the top has flown off, fold it back over before flipping.

Once the cooking time is complete, remove the quesadilla from the air fryer and allow to cool slightly before serving.
